Molly Carpenter, FNBC Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations, recently presented Thunder on Thunderbird organizers with a $7,500 sponsorship check. This year’s event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 4 starting at 7 p.m. at the Lake Thunderbird Dam in Cherokee Village.

“Thunder on Thunderbird is a wonderful tradition for our community and our guests,” said Carpenter. “FNBC is proud to be the leading sponsor, and appreciate all of the volunteers who work hard to make it a success.”

Thunder on Thunderbird is one of Arkansas’ largest Fourth of July firework shows. It will be preceded by the annual patriotic boat parade around Lake Thunderbird starting at 7 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at approximately 9 p.m.

The community is invited to attend and bring lawn chairs and blankets. The River 98.3 will be broadcasting patriotic music to go with the fireworks.
