Thunder on Thunderbird Donation

Marty Sellars (right), FNBC CEO and President, and Donald Britnell (left), FNBC Sharp County Community President, recently presented Jack Lowe (center), Thunder on Thunderbird organizer, with a $7,500 sponsorship check recently. The event is scheduled for Monday, July 4 starting at 7 p.m. at the Lake Thunderbird Dam in Cherokee Village.

Thunder on Thunderbird is one of Arkansas’ largest Fourth of July firework shows. It will be preceded by the annual patriotic boat parade around Lake Thunderbird starting at 7 p.m., and then a helicopter air show at 8 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.

The community is invited to attend and bring lawn chairs and blankets. The River 98.3 will be broadcasting patriotic music to go with the fireworks.
