FNBC Bank has once again gifted the Highland School District $10,000 to fund the Saluting Our Achieving Rebels (SOAR) program in 2018. The SOAR program recognizes students each quarter who either have all As & Bs, and/or perfect attendance, or have shown grit.

FNBC has been sponsoring the SOAR program since its introduction in Fall 2015. Since that time, students have received Tshirts, hats, power chargers, and have gone on field trips as part of their recognition.

“FNBC is happy to be a partner with the Highland School District’s SOAR program,” said FNBC President & CEO Marty Sellars. “These students have worked hard, and we believe that recognizing their efforts is important for continued success. It’s encouraging to know these students have met the academic goals set before them, as well as shown up and given their best efforts each day.”
